POLICY AND ADVOCACY
As the unified voice of the housing and community development practitioner industry, PLACE focuses its efforts on issues that are most pressing to the housing and community development industry as periodically assessed by the PLACE membership. Advocacy tactics include letter writing, meetings with members of congress, and meetings with relevant program officials, and communication with the press.
PLACE will gather regular feedback from member practitioner-peers to ensure that these priorities remain representative of the field at-large as our advocacy around these policy priorities develops in this stark and changing funding climate. Please see below for information on other advocacy efforts with which PLACE is affiliated.
